Second Curve Society · Quarterly Companion

You've already jumped. Now you need someone in the boat with you.

You don't lack direction anymore. What slows you down is the daily friction: a trigger, a decision with no clean answer, a wave of doubt that eats three days of momentum when it could have cost one conversation.

This is a different stage, and it needs different support

With a thinking partner on call, a quarter looks like this

  • A trigger surfaces on Tuesday and it's untangled by Thursday — not left to fester for a month.
  • Hard decisions get made from clarity instead of anxiety, and you stop re-litigating them at 2am.
  • You act from your aligned self more often, because someone keeps helping you find it when the noise gets loud.
  • Momentum compounds. The business, the project, the new life keep moving, because you're not stuck as often or as long.

Introducing

Sailing — a quarter of on-call thinking partnership for people already in motion

Not a fixed curriculum, not weekly homework. A season of flexible support built around your real life: book a session when you need one, send a voice message when a trigger hits, and get unstuck fast — so decisions keep flowing and momentum keeps building.

How it works

1
Book anytime. Sessions on demand — typically two or three a month — whenever a real thing needs working through. No forcing a rhythm that doesn't match your life.
2
Message between sessions. When something snags mid-week, send a voice note. You'll have a considered reply within 48 hours — so you're never stuck alone with it for long.
3
A check-in you don't have to initiate. Around week six I reach out proactively — because the people who most need support are often the ones least likely to ask for it.

Boundaries keep it sustainable for both of us: sessions come from my open calendar, and voice replies land within two working days. Clear edges are what make the support dependable.

"I'm doing fine. Do I really need a coach?"

Probably not in the way that word suggests. Think of it less as coaching and more as a standing thinking partner, the way a lot of founders keep an advisor on speed-dial. Not because they're failing, but because a fast outside perspective at the right moment saves them weeks.

I use this kind of support on my own second curve right now. I'm in this stage myself, building, and being able to unstick a trigger in a day instead of a week has been one of the most useful things in my work. That's the whole reason this offer exists.

Why me

I'm Rán. I left an international consulting career to build something that actually felt like mine, so I know this stage from the inside, not just from the coaching chair. The self-doubt that ambushes you mid-build, the momentum you lose to one bad morning: I'm navigating my own version of it in real time.

Behind that: 200+ hours coaching high-achieving professionals through transition. I don't hand you answers. I help you get unstuck and make aligned calls faster than you would alone, which is what matters most when you're building.

What a quarter includes

The investment

€699 per quarter

Priced for the flexibility, not per hour: on-call access plus between-session support for a full season. For people in motion, the value isn't the session count — it's not losing a week to a snag that could've been an afternoon.

Questions people ask first

What if I barely use it one month?

That's normal and completely fine — some weeks are dense, some are quiet. You're paying for access and continuity across a season, not a session quota. And the week-6 check-in exists precisely so a busy stretch doesn't quietly turn into "I wasted it."

Can I really message anytime?

Yes — send a voice note whenever something snags. I reply within 48 hours on working days. Those clear edges are what let me be genuinely dependable rather than vaguely always-on.

Is this coaching or consulting?

Neither label matters much. In practice it's a thinking partner: I don't tell you what to do or run your project. I help you clear the internal friction so your own decisions come faster and cleaner.

What if I'm not sure I've "jumped" yet?

Then Sailing may be early for you. If you're still weighing whether to make a change, Compass or The Crossing will serve you better — and I'll tell you honestly on the Discovery Call.

One last thing

The bravest people I know still get stuck. They just don't stay stuck as long, because they stopped trying to do it all alone. Keeping a thinking partner in the boat isn't a sign you're struggling. Plenty of people who are building keep one close for exactly this reason.
